Doors of Perception

Mercedes Azpilicueta & Rosie Heinrich

Curator: Fleur van Muiswinkel

Rijksakademie resident Mercedes Azpilicueta (1981) and Rosie Heinrich (1981) present new work at A Tale of a Tub on Sunday 30 November at 3pm. Doors of Perception explores the way in which we construct our understanding of daily reality. Azpilicueta is developing a performance especially commissioned for A Tale of a Tub, in which she plays with the characteristic space of the bathhouse and its pronounced acoustics. Heinrich will show her latest film. During Doors of Perception the view of a young teenager will be juxtaposed with the day to day experiences of two adults dealing with their bipolar condition.
