A Tale Of A Tub

Event Onsite 18 November 2017 from 17:00 to 19:00

Opening | ROME and public talk with Samir Bantal

Join us for the opening of our new exhibition ROME – a collaboration between Christopher Kulendran Thomas and curator Annika Kuhlman.

The exhibition will open with a conversation between Christopher Kulendran Thomas and architect Samir Bantal – Director AMO | OMA at 6 pm.

ROME is based on Christopher Kulendran Thomas’ long-term exploration into the future of citizenship. How can we imagine a self-governed state based on equality for all its citizens? What if that idea was imagined as a distributed network rather than a territorially bounded nation? Can citizenship – the right to belong somewhere – exist without nation states?

A Tale of a Tub wishes to thank the City of Rotterdam, BankGiro Lottery Fund/DOEN Foundation, Prince Bernhard Culture Fund, Stokroos Foundation, and Mondriaan Fund for their kind support.

The new film by Christopher Kulendran Thomas and Annika Kuhlmann is co-funded by A Tale of a Tub, DIS and Tensta konsthall.
